I am continually struck by just how long it takes for an idea to evolve from concept to fruition, so it is with amazement and gratitude that I look back on this decade of growing my Reflexology practice from my original home office in the Ukrainian Village to my lovely suite in Lincoln Park. I began by practicing on the willing feet of my friends and family and after I completed my certification, I was ready to open my doors under the name PIED DOUX, which means, more or less “Sweet Feet” – an homage to the language I studied and love. I later changed the name to THIRD COAST, not because Pied Doux was hard to pronounce, but because I like the feeling of expansiveness and peace that the word “Coast” evokes, and because I particularly love the beachfront of our Great Lake here in Chicago.  It’s been a slow and steady process and I am deeply gratified to have such wonderful clients who have grown and healed and soared with me!

Reflexology is Good For You. It is as simple and as powerful as that.DSC_0111
